Today I am sharing one of my favorite new styles for this holiday season: velvet bell bottoms! The ones I am wearing here are by Eat Sleep Rave and basically feel like velvet yoga pants. How often do you find a statement piece that also feels like pajamas?!
Also, as 2015 draws to a close, I wanted to put together a list for you all of my 10 very favorite beauty purchases of 2015. I discovered almost all of these this year, with a couple old stand-bys that I can’t resist mentioning again. I highly recommend every single one of these items.
What are some of your Holy Grail products of the year?
This hair repair treatment deserves the number 1 spot on my list. It is truly life changing and I would probably have no hair still attached to my head without it! It is the only hair product on that market that actually rebuilds color-damaged hair. There are so many ways to use it too. I use it as a leave-in after I wash my hair and sometimes as a styling product to tame my locks.
These no-heat hair curling rods are the best! I try to avoid using any heat on my hair these days and these flexible foam rods allow me to achieve loose curls without any damage.
3. FairyDrops Platinum Mascara
This is my favorite mascara on the planet. It is SO good that I order it on eBay or Amazon all the way from Japan! It is designed for Asian eyelashes, so it provides length and curl to even the most stubborn lashes.
UDPP has been a staple in my makeup bag since I was a teen. I wear it on my lids every single day whether I am doing a full eyeshadow look or just eyeliner. It prevents creasing, keeps colors rich and vibrant, and makes eye makeup stay in place all day.
When it comes to eyeliner, I need something super precise, ultra black, and very waterproof. I’ve tried literally every eyeliner pen on the market, and none of them stay put for the entire day. I love this eyeliner because it has the precision of a pen liner, but it will not budge (even through a hot yoga class or 5k run). I pair it UDPP for even more staying power (see previous).
This is the easiest brow pencil ever. One end has a super fine retractable pencil, and the other end has a little brush so you can soften your lines. It makes filling in your brows so quick and easy.
My wedding makeup artist taught me that this eyeshadow is the PERFECT contour color for my pale skin. I use it every day to contour my cheeks, jawline, and nose.
8. Claudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum
I’ve never used a serum before my moisturizer before because I’m all about cutting out extra beauty steps when possible. But this stuff really makes a difference. It makes your skin sooo soft and helps my moisturizer go the extra yard in keeping my skin moisturized and balanced all day.
9. Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer
Because of the Claudalie, I am able to use this lighter moisturizer afterwards. Both of these lightweight products work together to keep me hydrated but totally shine-free.
10. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation
Loooove this foundation! It has medium buildable coverage and goes on so smoothly. The finish is matte with just a hint of dewiness. Even at the end of the day it still looks perfect!

THOSE BELL BOTTOMS! I saw these on your insta and was dying over them! I feel like you’re one of the only people who could actually pull these off. They look so comfy too! I love your 2015 holy grail products. Olaplex is probably one of the best inventions ever and I’m still not sure how that stuff works but it’s literally liquid gold. When I had my hair catastrophe, my hairdresser recommended that I use it like a mask and sleep in it and even though I lost A LOT of hair, I would be afraid to know what would have happened without it. That shit is life changing. Hope you and the pups are having a great week so far!
