Saturday I went on a little day trip to Santa Barbara with my fiancé Brian and my future in-laws. We went to check out the Four Seasons as a potential wedding venue. We took a tour and had lunch at the restaurant there. I have to say, I wasn’t completely blown away like I thought I would be. The garden where the ceremony would take place was stunning and very private (it was the location where I took these photos). However, the room where we would have to have the reception was kind of dingy, dark, and out-dated. Ugh!! This was the 6th venue that I’ve looked at and I’m getting really frustrated!! They have all been disappointing. Hopefully we find something soon. I am enjoying every bit of the wedding planning process EXCEPT for searching for the venue. Is a good view, food, and price really too much to ask?
