Casual Weekend Lunch

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was so fun.  On Friday afternoon I photographed my girls Sami and Lyn for their fabulous blogs, followed by a little shopping on Rodeo.  They made some fabulous purchases at Celine and Chanel, and I shopped vicariously through them 😛

Then on Saturday I got lunch at one of favorite spots with my good friend (and fellow photographer) Jen.  We went to Gratitude Cafe in Larchmont where they serve the most delicious vegan food. Though I am not vegan or vegetarian, I prefer to eat very clean and Gratitude’s food is just so yummy! Afterwards, she took a few photos for me which are what you see in this post.  I was wearing a very casual outfit consisting of J Brand jeans, Toms, and an old Abercrombie plaid top.  Jen is so talented and will actually be photographing my wedding.  Check out her incredible work here.

On Sunday, Brian, the pups, and I took a trip to the valley to have brunch with the family.  It was lovely, and afterwards I got to enjoy a beautiful 3 mile run outside in our gorgeous 80 degree weather.  Weekends like this make me really appreciate my life! Uprooting and moving 3,000 miles to LA was the scariest thing I’ve ever done and at times it has been a difficult transition.  But I think I’m doing pretty damn well for having been here only 7 months 🙂
