I’m sorry for my silence here! I’ve been so busy with lots of stressful but exciting things. Brian and I are becoming full-on adults and are currently house shopping. At first it felt like a shopaholic’s fantasy…You are actually EXPECTED to obsessively check online listings and view beautiful homes once to twice a week! But it very quickly has became exhausting and frustrating. First of all, figuring out your mortgage is a true pain in the ass. Second, though we have viewed probably over 20 houses by now, every single one of them has had something that was immediately a deal-breaker, like being so close to the neighbors that you could practically reach out the window and touch their house, or having the freeway almost in your backyard. It’s pretty sad how little you get in our price range within a half-hour radius of Beverly Hills. We are hoping to find a 3+ bedroom home that has a contemporary design, high ceilings with lots of natural light, and with a private-feeling street and yard. This is exceptionally hard to find! But I’m staying positive and am still super excited for this bag step. I’m dreaming of marble countertops for flat lays, big windows for selfie lighting, and of course gigantic closets 🙂
