Hi guys! How do you like my Warby Parker glasses? I am getting LASIK eye surgery on the 21st so I have to wear them every day until then instead of my contacts. It’s kind of annoying because I don’t like wearing glasses. I know a lot of people do, but to me they are another accessory that I have to keep in mind when planning my outfit. They look cute with some things, but certainly not everything. More often than not, I find myself pairing them with a geek-chic kind of look like this one. I am wearing a vintage LBD and Fendi (both from the 90’s) as well as Birkenstocks. I’m kind of loving that Birkis are back in again and am dying for another pair.
I’m nervous and excited for my surgery though! I have worn contacts since I was 16 and they have always been super uncomfortable for me. Then when I moved to LA, the dry air made them pretty much intolerable. I can’t wait to have clear vision and comfy eyeballs! I just hope the surgery isn’t too scary.
