Hi everyone! Today I will just quickly talk about my outfit because mainly I want to talk about beauty products. My peplum top was handmade by a designer in Philadelphia and I bought it at a craft show when I lived there. My stone necklace is by href=”http://www.shopbypolar.com” target=”_blank”>shopbypolar and is one of my very favorite necklaces ever. My jeans are J Brand and my super comfy flats are Madden Girl. I’m carrying my beloved Louis Vuitton Neo Cabby GM which is discontinued, but you can often find them on TheRealReal (like here)! share with you the 6 beauty products that I absolutely cannot live without. There are a lot of products that come and go from my regime, but these 6 are staples that will ALWAYS be in my cabinet.
From left to right:
MAC Beauty Balm (in Light Plus) – $30 – I adore this BB cream. It has medium coverage, applies smoothly, and has SPF 35. I have combination skin and it does not cake on my dry spots or get greasy on my oily areas. Love love love.
Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub – $6.49 – This scrub is the best! I use it on my face every day and it is sooo refreshing. It gives your skin that cool, tingly feeling and it smells a bit like mint and blueberries. It’s awesome for acne-prone skin.
Urban Decay Primer Potion – $20 – I have been using this stuff for close to a decade! Anytime I wear eyeshadow or even just eyeliner, I prime my lids with this stuff. My lids get oily by the end of the day, but this product keeps my eye makeup from creasing or transferring. It comes in multiple colors now but I always just use the original.
Naked Soap by Industrial Strength – $6.50 – This soap is the very best product for cleaning ear piercings (or other piercings if you have them). It is formulated especially for piercings and has no harsh or irritating chemicals. If your piercings ever feel sensitive or uncomfortable, this stuff will soothe them.
Fairy Drops “Scandal Queen” Mascara – $28 – This is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. Sephora used to carry it but stopped, so now it can only be purchased on eBay and Amazon since it is from Japan. Even though that’s a pain, it’s so worth it! It adds curl, length, and just a bit of volume. Sometimes I cheat on this mascara with Lancome Hypnose, but I always come back to Fairy Drops.
Pravana ChromaSilk Pastels & Vivids – $10-$15 – If you’ve ever wanted luscious, brightly-colored mermaid hair, Pravana Pastels and Vivids are the answer. The colors are gorgeous, fairly long-lasting, and extremely gentle on your hair. I use a mix of violet and blissful blue (I linked to both).
What are your beauty staples??? Let me know in the comments!
xoxo

1. Urban Decay Primer Potion, of course! Use it every day.
2. Philosophy Purity because it doesn’t dry out my face or irritate my eyes, but it does get all my makeup off easily.
3. NYX Noir collection liquid eyeliner. It lAsta so long and goes on so smooth!
4. Aveeno Intensive Care hand cream. A must have for dry winter hands. It doesn’t make your skin greasy or slippery… aka you can still open door knobs and hold pens after using it.
5. Beauty Protector leave in conditioner and detangler. Got this in my birchbox and it was love at first use. Makes my hair feel great, smell great, and look great!
6. Eos lip balm. My lips are so chapped at this time of year. Eos has tons of good flavors, is quick to apply, and is super easy to find in the bottom of my purse because of its shape.
So hard to pick just 6!!! For honorary shout outs I would like to nominate Redken’s Pillow Poof Blow Dry primer spray and Essie Sand Tropaz, which I’ve been obsessed with lately.
Meanwhile if it wasn’t freezing rain right now, I would be picking up my bridesmaid dress!!
