The official “hounds” of Haus of Hounds were long overdue to make an appearance, so here they are! They’re sporting brand new matching leashes and collars by Bone and Bow Tie. Penelope’s collar has an adorable flower and Wendell’s has a bow tie. They are so freakin’ cute and we’ve been getting so many compliments on them.
I’m wearing my amazing new lace up flats and an Equipment silk shirt dress that I got from ThredUp. ThredUp is an online consignment shop with brand new and gently used clothing. I absolutely love buying used clothes! Believe it or not, most of my closet was purchased second hand. Second hand stores (both online and brick and mortar) are such an amazing option if you love designer clothing but are on a budget. It has been my favorite way to shop since I was a teenager and my high school friend introduced me to our local thrift store. After that, I was hooked! Over the years, I have managed to score some truly incredible thrifted treasures…Chanel boots, several Louis Vuitton bags, Gucci bags and boots, Fendi bags, Louboutin heels, just to name a few. I don’t go to thrift stores much these days since there is so much junk to weed through and I just don’t get the same thrill anymore from digging through it. I would rather pay a bit more and only have to hunt a little. Nowadays I prefer eBay, Buffalo Exchange, and Wasteland. Wasteland is a Los Angeles consignment chain and is my favorite store in the world (literally). If you love discounted designer clothing as much as I do, it is a must-visit if you visit LA!
